● Decree-Law No. 204/1967 – Regulates lottery operations in Brazil

This decree establishes that the operation of lotteries is a monopoly of the Federal Government, delegated to CAIXA Econômica Federal, and must follow criteria of control and social responsibility.

● CAIXA Econômica Federal Regulations

CAIXA, as the official operator of federal lotteries, requires all accredited lottery retailers to adopt measures preventing gambling by minors, in addition to promoting responsible gaming practices.
